What businesses can get the Google Guaranteed badge?
As of October 2020, the Google Guaranteed badge is available for most home services such as roofing, electricians, and lawn service. They will be adding more professional services in the near future, such as pet grooming, tax services and video services. You can check your eligibility here.
How do I add the Google Guaranteed badge to my listing?
If you are a business and would like to sign up for this badge, you must first have a Local Services Ads account with Google. You can then go to this page and submit a form to have the badge added. As of now, the screening process for Google Guaranteed is the same as the Local Services screening, which includes proof of licensure and insurance and background checks.
How do I get a customer refund with Google Guaranteed?
If you are customer and you are unsatisfied with the quality of service provided, you can contact Google Local Services support to file a claim for a refund. You must contact them within 30 days of the service provided, and they state that you should first contact the company to resolve the issue directly. Based on your case, Google may or may or not choose to refund the claim at their discretion.
